Black Sherif Projected To Win BET Hiphop Award For Best International Flow
Ghana’s Black Sherif and reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year has been projected to win the Best International Flow award at this year’s BET Hiphop Awards 2023 to be officially held on Tuesday, October 10.
According to a news report by myjoyonline.com, the good news which has already been well received by his fans is a leaked snippets of a pre-recorded video of the ‘Kwaku The Traveler’ hitmaker receiving his award on stage.
This leaked amateur video was from the show’s taping from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Black Sherif beat a tough competition from the likes Aka (South Africa), Central Cee (UK), Gazo (France), J Hus (Uk), K.O (South Africa), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), Sampa The Great (Zambia) and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
This is the second time Black Sherif was nominated in the prestigious awards scheme after losing out to France’s Benjamin Epps last year.
The young man from Asante-Akyem Konongo is certainly a huge inspiration for many young artistes.
In his few years on the music scene, Black Sherif, who is the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year has made significant progress and continues to solidify his presence as a strong force in Ghana and beyond.
He was the only Ghanaian artiste nominated at this year’s BET Hiphop awards and fans have already started showering him with congratulatory messages.
