Charlotte’s Memorial Foundation to Donate Books to Mepe-Horkpo School

Charlotte’s Memorial Foundation, a non-governmental organization committed to promoting gender equality and empowering girls in rural communities across Ghana, is set to donate books and other essential items to the Mepe-Horkpo District Assembly School in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region.

The initiative, dubbed the “Books and Stationery Donation Drive,” aims to equip students with the necessary learning materials to cultivate strong reading habits and enhance their academic development for a brighter future.

The donation will include six boxes of books comprising exercise books and storybooks, as well as pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners. In addition, clothing items will be presented to the students to further support their well-being.

The donation exercise is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 17th February, at the school premises.

Charlotte’s Memorial Foundation is therefore calling on individuals, civil society organizations, and institutions to support this initiative by contributing additional educational materials to help advance its mission of empowering the next generation.
