Fantana Calls Beefing Female Musicians ‘Clowns’

Fantana

RuffTown Records act Fantana has described, without mincing words that some female musicians as clowns.

According to her, all females involved in beefs currently on-going are clowns.

For some days now, ‘MTW’, a song by Sista Afia, has ignited a lot of controversy after it was released last week Wednesday.

While Sista Afia did not mention names, some people have concluded that Sista Afia took jabs at Sister Derby, Wendy Shay and Efia Odo in the song.

The song has seen counter jabs and reactions from Sister Deborah and Akuapem Poloo.

Fantana, who says she just got into the music industry just about a year, is not happy about the in-fightings in the industry said,“Can we focus on other things because every day we attacking each other and talk about unnecessary while others in other countries are taken seriously?”

She believes that most artistes in the country don’t get maximum support from Ghanaians because “we haven’t given them a reason to support us” because if they are “dissing each other on social” and fighting over titles, no one will take them serious.

When MzGee drew her attention to the fact that she has attacked or beefed some artistes in the past, the ‘Girls Hate On Girls’ singer was quick to clarify that “my beef with whoever I was having a problem with was real…” and she won’t do it for attention or to trend and stressed that she never hid the fact that she had issues with Wendy Shay.

To her, the way some females are going about things “it’s just a joke… When you hear the song you just know that it’s a joke,” and that if anyone wants to beef someone, they make lyrics clear.

To the singer, “once that people try to create beefs or that are trying to have issues out of nothing…what they are doing is clowning. People are laughing at you; you think it’s funny. When it is time to own up to what you are doing or own up to who you are talking about, you can’t do it. For me, that’s a clown.”

“Anybody that creates beef with someone [when] they don’t have a problem with them or anybody who is looking for attention like bringing down another female is a clown…If you create fake beefs and you know you don’t have an issue with the person you are a clown. If you talk bad about somebody and you go to a radio station and you can’t admit…whoever the shoe fits, then you can wear it…,” she said.
