Fashion Was My Initial Passion – Fantana
Rufftown Records newly signed act, Fantana, has revealed that she did not come to Ghana mainly because of her music career.
On the special edition of the Late Nite Celebrity Show with guest host, Eddy Blay, she revealed that she came to Ghana to do fashion and not music, even though she has always loved to sing. According to her, she has her own men’s wear boutique in East Legon, which she still operates aside her music career.
Asked why she chose to do men’s fashion, she asserted that she just felt that the men in Ghana need a little help with their fashion and also because she likes men’s fashion.
‘’I’ve always known how to sing but I never took it seriously till I told myself I am really passionate with fashion but I feel like my actual passion is music. That’s when I decided to start professional music’’,she said.
The ‘So what’ hit maker added that she listens to different genres of music and afro-beat is one of her favorites but her overall love for music is what motivated her decision to become a musician. Fantana is only about four months into the music industry and she already has two song releases, ‘So what’ and ‘Girls hate on girls’ which have both made hits.
