A statement signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, indicated that preliminary investigations revealed that on October 16, 2025, a man identified as Issah, who claimed to be the deceased’s brother, took him to Manhyia Hospital with multiple abdominal injuries.

Issah reportedly informed the police that the victim had been involved in an accident.

Hospital authorities pronounced the deceased dead on arrival, after which Issah deposited the body at Ebenezer Mortuary in Tafo, Kumasi.

The police assured the public that a thorough investigation would be conducted to establish the circumstances surrounding the death and ensure that any perpetrators are brought to justice.
