“Uber driver” driver hitmaker, Wendy Addo, popularly known as Wendy Shay has stated in an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go online show, that her aim and purpose as a musician is to hit across Africa.
Touching on the progress she’s made as a musician, the Rufftown records signee entreated Ghanaians to correct rather than insult when one makes a mistake, thus a classic case of what she’s experienced with the media and the Ghanaian populace when she first came into the limelight.
Wendy Shay indeed admitted she has a special relationship with Shatta Wale.
According to her, ever since she became close acquaintance to the SM boss, she’s really learnt a lot from him and has extremely gained self confidence in whatever she does.
She stressed on the growth and lessons she has acquired through the mistakes she’s made.
Wendy Shay is really carving a niche for herself and arguably, cannot be left out when speaking about the leading female musicians in Ghana currently, She has indeed proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with over the past year and currently out with a new single titled “KUT IT”.
