Two people have died and six others sustained injuries in a road accident at Kwasu, along the Bechem–Techimantia road in the Ahafo Region.
The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on November 10, 2025. Firefighters from the Bechem Fire Station, led by ASTNO Kwaku Doe, responded promptly to the distress call.
The crash involved a Toyota Voxy with registration number AS 6403-25. Upon arrival, the rescue team found two victims dead at the scene.
Their bodies were handed over to the police, while six survivors were rescued and taken to Bechem Government Hospital by the National Ambulance Service for treatment.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, and the vehicle was severely damaged.
