Four people have died and one person has been injured in a fatal road crash involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer at Anyinasin Junction on the Accra-Kumasi N1 Highway.
The crash happened at dawn on Monday (September 28) around 5:20am.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service, the Bunso Fire Station responded to the distress call at 5:21 am and arrived at 5:35 am with a seven-member crew.
Firefighters extricated trapped victims, secured the scene, and helped maintain the free flow of traffic.
The Toyota Voxy with registration number GR 9430-26 was completely damaged, while the trailer with registration number GS 4064-26 sustained damage to its front compartment.
One male victim was rescued and conveyed to Kibi Government Hospital, while the deceased comprised three males and one female.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the scene was handed over to the Police.
