At least six people have died, and several others have sustained injuries in a road crash between a Hyundai urvan and a trailer on the Obuasi-kyekyewere road within the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti region.
The incident occurred around 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
According to reports, the trailer lost control upon reaching Aboagye Motors near the Obuasi court junction, resulting in a crash with the Hyundai Urvan, leading to the death of six individuals and several others injured.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Obuasi government hospital, while the injured are receiving treatment at the hospital.
