Afrochella 2021: The “Made In Africa” Experience

Afrochella 2021: The “Made In Africa” Experience

Afrochella is an annual Festival that presents a colourful celebration of Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives and entrepreneurs.

Held in Ghana each year, the festival is designed to elevate and highlight thriving millennial talents through interactive activities that teaches, explains and explores various cultures through a pioneering approach.

It is a festive celebration of our culture in the form of Art & Fashion Installations, Live Painting, Best of African Cuisine and Live Performances.

The 4th edition of the festival took place at El Wak Stadium in a stylish setting amidst remarkable performances.

The theme for this year’s festival is “Made in Africa,” to encourage the further advancement and awareness of Africa’s homegrown talent in music, art, fashion, and food. It is also to encourage the Africans and Diasporans to appreciate, love and patronize made in Africa goods.

Live performances started at 7pm with headlining artistes such as Stonebwoy, Wizkid, King Promise, Black Sherif, Gyakie, Joel-B, Kojo Antwi, Amaarae, Ari Lennox and a host of others.

The 2019 Afrochella was a celebration with Ghana’s Year of Return. However, this year’s event is a celebration of Beyond The Return for people in the diaspora.
