Four students of the Ada Senior High Technical School have been arrested by the police after a video showing one of them brandishing a cutlass and threatening fellow students on campus was shared on social media.
The Tema Regional Police Command said the arrests followed a swift police response after officers came across the video at about 12:10 a.m. on May 22, 2026.
A statement signed by ASP Dede Dzakpasu, Head of Public Affairs at the Tema Regional Police Command said a night patrol team was immediately dispatched to the school.
With the assistance of school authorities, the police arrested the four, three of whom were 18-year-olds and a juvenile, all of whom were identified in the footage.
The four suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
