Thousands Of Diasporans Throng Ghana For The 2022 Afrochella Festival

The 5th edition of the annual Afrochella festival took place on 28 and 29th of December 2022 at El Wak Stadium.

Afrochella Festival is a celebration of Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of art showcased by the continent’s emerging creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs.

The theme for this year’s festival is “AfroFuturism,” a term created to reflect on the past, explore the future and create a progressive path for the present African diaspora.

To bring “AfroFuturism” to life, Afrochella’s music festival was transformed to include several cultural concepts – all created to take a foray into the future of art, music, fashion, culture and food.

Thousands of revelers traveled to Ghana and participated in the event, making Afrochella the premier festive celebration in Ghana during Christmas.
