Agradaa fined GHC50,000 for sharing pastor’s nude images
An Accra High Court has ordered Patricia Aseidua, also known as Agradaa, to pay GHC50,000 in compensation to Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum for distributing his nude images.
Aseidua, also known as Evangelist Mama Pat, was further directed to pay GHC12,000 on each of four separate charges, with the sentences running concurrently.
The court imposed the fines and compensation after her lawyers reached a plea‑bargaining agreement with the Office of the Attorney‑General and the complainant, Pastor Fumum, also known as Appiah Biblical.
At the previous sitting, her lawyers informed the court that the plea‑bargaining process was at an advanced stage.
Other accused persons in the matter are seeking to enter plea‑bargaining arrangements, while one has appealed a ruling on a submission of no case.
The case arose after the complainant reported to the Police that his nude images had been broadcast on Agradaa’s Thunder TV and shared on social media platforms.
Agradaa, founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, and her co‑accused, Charles Omane, also known as One Gig, filed for plea bargaining and were expected to open their defence.
Another accused person, Enock Owusu Kissi, contested the court’s order directing him to open his defence.
Agradaa, who is currently serving a 15‑year sentence in a separate case, was charged with non‑consensual distribution and possession of intimate images.
Her co‑accused were charged with abetment in connection with the distribution of the complainant’s intimate images aired on Thunder TV in 2021.
