The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Christian Rogg, has celebrated award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie ahead of his Rapperholic UK 2026 tour, urging the diaspora community and fans in the UK to attend as the “Landlord” brings the Accra and Kumasi experience to London.

In a post on X, H.E. Rogg expressed his gratitude to Sarkodie for delivering an electrifying performance at the London to Accra Diaspora Mixer, an annual New Year event that celebrates the enduring cultural ties between Ghana and the UK while fostering economic and business opportunities. The event featured a showcase of Ghanaian and UK fashion, including live modelling, a Kente weaving demonstration, and Ghanaian and UK cuisine and beverages.

“A pleasure to host you at the British Residence last night, @sarkodie. Thanks for the great show! Fantastic news that you are taking #RapperholicUk26 to London. As I mentioned: Royal Albert Hall is a spectacular venue…. and the place to be on 6 March!” the High Commissioner wrote.
