Helicopter Tragedy Victims’ Children’s Support Fund accumulates GH¢8.6 million 

As of October 12th, the August 6th Helicopter Tragedy Victims’ Children’s Support Fund has accumulated a total amount of GH¢8.6 million and $20,000.00. 

A statement issued by Dr Valerie Sawyerr, Senior Presidential Advisor on Governmental Affairs and Coordinator of the Fund, released the fifth public update on the Children’s Support Fund established for the welfare of children affected by the August 6 helicopter crash. 

It said between 23 September and 12 October, donations were received from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, BOST Energies, Bui Power Authority, Energy Commission, Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company Limited, Israel Quarme Arye, Timothy Addai Adivilah Balagkutu, Agencies of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, and Augustus Obuadum Tandoh. 

The statement said donations could be made via Stanbic Bank (Accra – Stanbic Heights Branch):
