State funeral of former First Lady set for November 28
The Ghana government, under the auspices of President John Dramani Mahama, will hold a state funeral for the late Former First Lady, Mrs Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings on Friday, November 28, at the Independence Square.
A statement issued by Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, said the state funeral was in recognition of Mrs Agyeman-Rawlings’ invaluable contributions to the advancement of the rights of women and children in Ghana, and national development.
