AfroFuture 2025 unleashes second wave lineup featuring global hitmaker Rema as headliner
Ghana is bracing for an electrifying cultural takeover as AfroFuture festival 2025 announces a powerful second wave of performers ahead of its return to the El Wak Stadium on December 28–29, 2025.
The festival, produced by Culture Management Group (CMG) and powered by Afreximbank with support from Martell, continues to cement its place as one of Africa’s most influential celebrations of music, art, food, fashion, and innovation.
This year’s unveiling comes with a major headline announcement Rema, the chart-topping Nigerian Afrobeats sensation known for global hits and his genre-shaping sound. His addition instantly elevates the anticipation surrounding this year’s edition, themed around African Nostalgia.

Joining him on the bill is Ghanaian superstar KiDi, whose blend of highlife and Afropop has made him a household name across the continent. The new wave of talent also welcomes an elite squad of international DJs including Skyla Tylaa, DJ L.A.J, DJ RBnice, Flygerian, DJ Mohogany, Afrolektra, TMSKDJ, and DJ Oreo who are set to bring eclectic rhythms and global influences to the festival grounds.

Some of the continent’s most dynamic MCs, such as MC Lola, Kojo Manuel, Princess AJ, and Michael Nichols, will guide the growing crowd through two nights of nonstop music and celebration.
This second wave builds on an already impressive lineup featuring Asake, TxC, Moliy, King Paluta, Mavo, and DJ sets from Obi’s House, ADDJ, DJ Loft, and K-Dwawg & EZPass solidifying AfroFuture 2025 as one of the year’s most anticipated cultural moments.
According to Abdul Karim Abdullah, CEO and Co-Founder of CMG, this year’s festival aims to deepen its connection to African creativity and heritage.
“With the addition of Rema, KiDi, and an incredible slate of DJs and MCs, we’re continuing to expand the story of African Nostalgia,” he said.
He emphasized that the festival remains a celebration of African innovation, memory, and global influence.
Beyond the main stage, AfroFuture festival promises a host of immersive experiences. Attendees can explore creative installations, cultural activities, and wellness programs, including the AfroFuture Foundation x Black Health Connect 3rd Annual Community Fair: Mind Matters, a curated wellness series with 7even, and the Future Makers Master Class Series.
