Menstrual Hygiene Day is an annual awareness event that highlights the importance of good menstrual hygiene management on a global scale.
Proper menstrual hygiene is crucial for the health, well-being, and empowerment of women and girls worldwide. It plays a vital role in enabling them to reach their full potential.

In this regard, on May 28th, Charlotte’s Memorial Foundation, a non-governmental organization, together with Amazing Girl’s Foundation, will celebrate this year’s Menstrual Hygiene Day at Wokumagbe District Assembly Basic School in Ada East.

The theme for this year’s Menstrual Hygiene Day focuses on ensuring access to safe and dignified menstrual hygiene management for all individuals, emphasizing the importance of breaking the silence and ending the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Charlotte’s Memorial Foundation is committed to promoting gender equality and empowering girls and women in Ghana through education, advocacy, the distribution of dignity packs, and community development initiatives.
